Candied Almonds

These are so fast, easy and yummy!  They taste exactly like the ones they sell in the mall at Christmas time!

1/2 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 T ground cinnamon
2 cups whole almonds

Combine water, sugar and cinnamon in saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil; add almonds.  Cook and stir the mixture until the liquid evaporates and leave a syrup-like coating on the almonds (about 15 min).  Pour onto waxed paper to cool, separate almonds using forks.
