Tamale Pie

1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 1/2 cups cold water
1 1/4 cups yellow corn meal

2 16 oz. cans chili con carne
1/2 cup drained, sliced, pitted black olives
1 cup shredded cheese
1 16 oz. can drained corn

Combine first4 items in saucepan.  Cook over medium heat until quite thick and stiff, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.  Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and press the mixture around sides and bottom forming a bowl.

Combine chili, olives, and corn in a saucepan over medium heat.  Pour into casserole dish.  Top with cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
